CBA Member Applications
This application is for active, inactive, and retired attorneys who have a license in good standing in any jurisdiction. Membership dues are calculated by the attorney’s original license date.
Attorneys who are licensed and located in Colorado are required to join a local bar association as part of their CBA membership.
In Colorado, the Supreme Court Office of Attorney Regulation Counsel (OARC) and the Colorado Bar Association are independent entities. This application is for membership with the CBA and is not the application to become licensed in Colorado. For information on becoming licensed in Colorado, please visit the OARC website.
This application is for Licensed Legal Paraprofessionals (LLPs) with a Colorado license in good standing. Membership dues are calculated by their Colorado license date with the same fees as attorney members.
LLPs are welcome but not required to join a local bar association.

Associate Memberships are for non-lawyers whose primary occupation directly involves assisting attorneys on a regular basis in the delivery of legal services. Associate members are limited to paralegals, legal assistants, law office administrators, legal secretaries, court personnel, and bar association staff.
Patrons are non-lawyers who provide ancillary goods or services to attorneys or the legal profession. Patrons include but are not limited to Mediators, Certified Public Accountants, Private Investigators, Court Reporters, Educators, Consultants, Vendors, Companies, and Corporate Associations.
The CBA offers a complimentary membership to students enrolled in an accredited law school, providing students with resources, networking, and support to jumpstart their future legal career.
The student membership includes up to two sections and two local bar associations at no cost.
Local Bar, Section, and Committee Applications
Current CBA members may join a local bar association, law section, or committee at any time.
