Program Description:
This CLE will examine the latest developments in cross-border business transactions between Mexico and the United States in the context of the evolving North American trade landscape. The speakers will discuss mergers and acquisitions, compliance, joint ventures, and financing strategies in Mexico. Attendees will gain valuable insights into navigating the legal complexities of cross-border operations and leveraging opportunities in the Mexico-U.S. market.

Troy Braegger is of counsel to Dorsey, where he represents clients in cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and financings. Tory has extensive experience representing U.S. and multinational clients in Latin America.
Speakers:
Daniel Del Rio is a partner in the Mexico City office of SMPS Legal, a multidisciplinary and international law firm focused on Latin America work. For more than 40 years, Daniel has advised medium and large companies, focusing on the areas of M&A, compliance, international transactions, as well as business strategies. He has been the author of various articles and chapters on Mergers and Acquisitions, E-commerce, as well as real estate, infrastructure, Corporate Governance and Compliance.
Eduardo Pizarro is a partner in the Mexico City office of SMPS Legal. Eduardo has over 25 years of experience representing clients in a wide variety of projects, such as real estate transactions and investments, public and private mergers, purchase and sale of shares and assets, creation and structuring of companies, financings, joint ventures and strategic alliances, labor and social law, including individual and collective labor counseling. He also has experience in the coordination of civil and commercial litigation.
