Every year the Water Law Section hosts the Water Buffalo Ceremony to honor those people who have made significant contributions to Water Law. This year we inducted two honorees:

The Water Law Section of the Colorado Bar Association is a group of over three hundred lawyers committed to enhancing the practice of water law and the administration of water rights in the State of Colorado. The Section provides a forum for the education and communication among water law practitioners and their staff, judges, members of he water law community, elected officials, the state bar association, and members of the public.

The Water Law Section Executive Council is comprised of the Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary-Treasurer, and seven general Executive Council members. The Section currently sponsors a Continuing Legal Education Committee and a Legislative Review Committee.

The Water Law Section holds a monthly CLE program on the second Thursday of every month at noon.
